Planina is a village in the Municipality of Postojna in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia.[2]
The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Margaret and belongs to the Ljubljana Archdiocese. There are a number of churches in the vicinity of the village belonging to the same parish. The church of the Holy Cross is built next to the cemetery north of the village. A church dedicated to Mary Refuge for Sinners stands on a hill above the village to the northwest.[3]
